Dyranut winter – our first sunroof
In the heart of the Hardangervidda plateau, 1245 meters above sea level, lies Dyranut – a place where winter really puts our installations to the test. Here we delivered our very first solar cell system, and the photo shows the snow-covered cabin as it often looks for much of the year.
Even in extreme weather conditions, with deep snowdrifts and icy winds, the solar panels continue to produce electricity when the sun shines. This is where our journey with solar roofs began – with a solution adapted to the harsh mountain climate. The roof at Dyranut became proof that solar energy works, even in Norwegian winter conditions.
